Ta-DAAA!!! My full-fledged, continuing voyage through Star Trek from a Christian worldview perspective is officially under way.

There are two notable birthdays today: that of Nichelle Nichols, Star Trek‘s original Uhura, and of cinema itself. The movies are turning 115, while Nichols is only 78. Both hold important places in our cultural history, but one wouldn’t be there without the other.
